For the Sum of $X amount, plus shipping expenses, I Candace Warren of Copperfields Goldens (“Seller”) hereby sells the puppy FEMALE / MALE from breeding of Bitch and Stud AKC # SR00000000 with full registration to John and Jane Doe (“Buyer”).
This puppy is guaranteed to be in good health, of sound mind and free of physical defects as apparent to the naked eye. The puppy is current on all prescribed vaccinations as stated in AAHA regulations. We highly recommend that you visit your vet for a complete physical examination and approval of the puppy. If before close of business on the date stated in the Vet Clause Refund above, a veterinarian determines a congenital problem dating from the prenatal or fetus stage that results in immediate death (natural or via euthanasia) or a condition that is covered by Copperfields Goldens Health Replacement Guaranty, she may be returned for a full refund.
NuVet Supplement & Extended Health Guaranty
The standard health replacement guarantee is twelve (12) months from pick-up date.
Continued supplementation of NuVet is highly suggested to maintain healthy growth. If supplementation of NuVet vitamins is followed for the health replacement guaranty term, the health replacement guarantee will be extended to twenty-four (24) months from pick-up date. All orders of NuVet vitamins must be under order code 78759 for accountability by Copperfields Goldens or the extension to twelve months is terminated.
If NuVet is discontinued, then the health replacement guarantee will end 30 days later or at end of the extended warranty period, which ever come first.
AKC Registration
Copperfields Goldens will provide the registration papers for the puppy with the American Kennel Club (AKC). Registration of puppy is at the expense of the purchaser. Copperfields Goldens is providing you with a PET quality dog and we will NOT guarantee the breeding ability of the puppy. We are providing this puppy on a FULL registration.
Breeding Conditions and Restrictions
Before ANY breeding can be done complete clearances for the puppy must be obtained. Complete clearances are defined as a hips and elbow certification (Either PennHIP above 50% or Preliminary OFA with a grade of “fair” or better), heart certification (OFA), and eye certification (CERF). Failure to abide by these stipulations could result in Copperfields Goldens fining the owners $1,500.00 plus return of the puppy at the expense of John and Jane Doe along with all documentation.
Void of
any of this portion of the contract will result in void of the entire contract
and the returning of the puppy/dog to Copperfields Goldens.
Health Replacement Guaranty
Copperfields Goldens Health Guaranty warrants and guarantees that the puppy purchased is to be in good health, of sound mind and free of physical defects as apparent to the naked eye. In addition, Copperfields Goldens warrants and guarantees that the puppy purchased will pass all the required clearances under the Breeding Conditions and Restrictions section of this contract. Complete clearances are defined as a hips and elbow certification (Either PennHIP above 50% or Preliminary OFA with a grade of “fair” or better), heart certification (OFA), and eye certification (CERF).
For claims with regards to hip, heart, elbow, or eye certification, a copy of the findings from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), Pennsylvania Hip Improvement Program (PennHIP) or Canine Eye Registry Foundation (CERF) must be submitted to Copperfields Goldens.. The original puppy/dog must be returned to Copperfields Goldens prior to any replacement. The buyer will have the option to return the dog/puppy to Copperfields Goldens or receive the difference between pet/show price$ and keep the dog/puppy no funds will be disbursed until the said dog/puppy has been altered and proof is shown to Copperfields goldens. Replacement may take up to one year and will be of equal or better breeding. Shipping of the original and replacement puppy is at the expense of Buyer. Color, size, or shape is NOT guaranteed.
Buyer must also provide proof to Seller of shots, wormings, and annual checkup from a vet to be in accordance with the terms of this guarantee and for the guarantee to remain in effect. The ENTIRE guarantee is null and void if you can not produce evidence of this care. AKC paperwork will also have to be returned to Copperfields Goldens.
First Right of Refusal
If at any time, the purchaser cannot or does not want to keep said puppy Copperfields Goldens has the right to first refusal. If first refusal is denied to Copperfields Goldens, then Copperfields Goldens has the right to demand the entire price of the puppy refunded by the purchaser back to Copperfields Goldens plus a penalty $1,500.00. The puppy must be in good health and you must provide proof of current shots, wormings, and rabies vaccines. All AKC paperwork must also be signed over to Copperfields Goldens.
This return offers NO
financial obligation by Copperfields Goldens to
reimburse the Buyer for any or all expenses relating to the puppy.
Puppy Shipping
Buyer is to pay all costs related to the shipment of the puppy. This may include, but is not limited to the costs of an airline quality shipping kennels; bedding materials; bowls; puppy food; third party shipping costs; gas; mileage; and time. Seller is to provide a complete and accurate total cost estimate of all shipping costs to the Buyer a minimum of seven (7) business days prior to shipping the puppy. Cost of shipping must be paid in full by Buyer prior to initial shipment of the puppy.
If no contact or full payment for the puppy including shipping costs is made within three (3) business days of the agreed upon pick-up date, the obligation of Copperfields Goldens is void and Buyer forfeits all funds made as a deposit or payment and may not receive the puppy listed above. Twenty-four (24) hours after a deposit has been made on the above puppy, said deposit is non-refundable. No refund of any funds will be provided after the Vet Clause date.
Other Conditions and Restrictions
This dog will be kept at proper weight and never allowed to become obese. This dog will be given adequate and proper shade and housing. The dog will also be given the correct amount of food and have water available at all times. This dog shall in no manner be mistreated or neglected in any way. The dog shall receive adequate and proper vet care and all inoculations must be maintained and up to date
If any of the
principles listed in this contract are not followed
then this contract is null and void.
These guarantees are non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only. There is NO EXCEPTION to these policies.
